is this what pregnancy is??

Here lately everyone is thinking i'm preggie, even my own mother. i recently learned that the birthcontrol i had been taking the past few months were an extreme low dose. Now i don't know why my doc prescribed this to me but she did. But lets continue.. well my last period was march 20th and i started having a brown discharge on april 4th it lasted 2 weeks. So i went to the doctor and she acted like i was just taking up her time and she rushed me out. she said eveything is fine but she only asked me a couple of questions.. well i was supposed to start my period april 18th but it never came except for some real light bleeding. today is april 25th and still no period. i'm going to list all the symptoms i've had since the brown bleeding started up to today.
*a wierd watery discharge
*very tender breast
*swollen nipples
*very nauseated
*extremely tired (i could take 3 naps a day and sleep just fine at night)
*headaches
*light cramping
*i had a real sharp pain on my right side whenever ther bleeding began
*moodiness
*bloated
*i had a faint flutter in my lower stomach about a week ago
*pretty gassy
*weight gain but a loss of apetite
*my gums bleed every once in a while when i brush my teeth
*my nose has been bleeding here lately also which is unusual for me
i took hpt but it was negative so i plan on testing again in a week.
does everyone here think this is pregnancy or is there a possibility it is something else. i would apreciated any responses i get.
thank you =]

Wow! you have all those symptoms! Thats looks like pregnancy! But at the same time, you had a lot of bleeding, pregnancy causes some bleeding caused by the fertilized egg burrowing into the placenta but 2 weeks seems a long period bleeding. Pick a HPT that detects pregnancy early. I had mine 3 days after period's expected date and it was positive so I am a bit confused. If you can confirm with a second test, then if you are not pregnant according to the test, go see another doctor. Let us know!

Well first off i would have words with my doctor if i was treated that way. Every pregnancy is different when it comes to symptoms. The most common is late af, nauseated, sore nipples, and swolen brest. Also these can be signs of af coming soon. I would test again in a few days and if still bfn then contact a doctor. It can be something else but i dont know what. I have heard it can take 3-4 months to become use to a birth control pill and for it to be fully effective. I wish you the best of luck.

It is possible that you are pregnant but it could be caused by the hormones caused by your birth control. I would say definitely get a different doctor that is going to listen to you concerns and take you seriously and then have a blood test done. I would also say definitely get another home test and wait a week and take it and see what it says =) Good luck hun.

Well if you were pregnant you wouldn't feel flutters until month 4 or 5 (around 20 weeks pregnant). Bowel movements and gas feel like early baby movements.

I would wait a few days and retest with First Response as it is the most sensitive test on the market. It should give you a fairly accurate result. If you ovulated late then your period would be late (or a late positive if you did conceive).

If you think you are pregnant request a blood test. That would give you a for sure answer.
