Ive had it, they also mix it with tetanus, diphtheria and polio too. It's well worth it.

Im in the UK aswel and havent been offered it. im 30wks, im worried that having it might have effects on the unborn baby and cause some sort of damage in the long term. i havent really read up on it though

My son's ped. actually recommended I do it while pregnant, I guess it's supposed to be bad this year, so I would!

I was advised to have it by the nurse who did my flu jab and alot of people have also said its a good idea to have it done. I think I will have it just to be on the safe side :-)

Ill definatly have it done, i did wonder about it at first but ive noticed my immune system is lower now im pregnant, (never got ill before but had a cold and s&d since bein preg!!) I work in a nursing home too so its like a breeding ground for germs! I wouldnt put my baby at risk, especially when its only a little jab to keep her safe :)

Do it!!! The cases of whooping cough are out of control. Most infants get it from unvaccinated family. Also get a flu shot. Listen to your nurse she is obviously looking out for you and baby.
