39 weeks and need my doc to induce at 40weeks

I am Due on Dec 10 and my husband is deploying and his leave starts on the 10th and we plan on moving me home 2-3days after. Do you think a doc will induce? because if not ill be traveling over a 1,000 miles at 40weeks pregnant. Our house is already packed and our lease is up so we really dont have a choice. Im not asking to go early, just on my due date. If he wont does anyone have any suggestions on what i should do?

My sisters husband was facing jail time so they enduced her a week early. Just bring it up asap so they can schedule it. FYI been induced 2x you should start the morning before at the hospital. It often takes a ling time to get it moving
