belly button ring, help!

Okay so the other day my fiancée noticed that around the top of my piercing is really red, after he said something I've been keeping an eye on it and it's really sore. I'm thinking it's infected, I've never had an issue with it until I put in the plastic pregnancy belly button ring, I've had it for 4-5 years now so it's healed.. what should I do, I really don't want to take it out and have to get it redone...? I'm 36 weeks by the way so not much longer just trying to see the best idea! :/

I had mine for awhile. Got the pregnancy ring and the ball kept falling off so I got si mad that I took it out ans kept it up and its close now. I even had my nipples pierced that i had to take out. Your body is changing..things are going to get bigger. Hints why my nipple piercing had to go. They got so big that that bar was getting so tight that it couldn't move like it used it.

I took mine out at 6 weeks...not really worried about it closing, but if it doesn't then that's great :) I've had mine for 10 years

I almost Trenton out on my wedding day after having it in for five years. It started to get infected so I took it out to clean it and it closed. Didn't bother redoing it. Clean it with bactine spray

I had mine in for 3 years. Randomly one day I took it out for a boy who didn't like it ( I had a crush on him) and I shot you not the next day I put the ring back in... Idk what happened but 4 days later the skin deteriorated and the ring fell out. I had a gross scar and that was when I was 16 I am 23 now and it finally looks healed enough to have it re done. I won't though. My lesson I learned? Screw belly ring s

I had to take mine out after 8 months . Even the pregnancy ones cause it looked weird lol . I've had mine done since '010 . I was afraid that I'd have to get it redone after I took it out last pregnancy till after birth but I didn't . Mine fell out this pregnancy cause my belly got bigger lmao . It won't close . Mine never did . Mines out right now and been out since bout 6 1/2 months and I'm 36+6 today (: you'll be fine . You won't have to get it redone . They'll make you take it out when you go into labor anyhow till you have the baby .

I had my belly ring for 6 years and without being pregnant and it got so infected I ended up just taking it out. 6 years idk why or how but that mess hurt. My suggestion is to clean it and treat it like a brand new piercing

It wont close up, I took mine out my last pregnancy and this is my second pregnancy and its still open, your skin is probably irritated by the plastic, take it out or clean it eveyday and keep an eye on it
