how SOON after MEMBRANE SWEEP??

When did u get a membrane sweep and how many days afterwards did u start to go into labor or did ur water break??? I may get to have a membrane sweep on monday!!!!

Nothing to be scared of. It doesn't hurt. Just feels like they are doing a more invasive pelvic exam lol... pressure but no pain. Not sure if they do it in everyone or not. I know my doctor does. They start doing them there when patients are 39 weeks. They won't do anything until then. It nay just depend on your doctor or midwife

Not painful just uncomfortable.. I had one done 3 days ago and had a little bloody mucus come out from it but that's it :( I get another one in the morning.. good luck to you I hope you get faster results than me.. my little one is just too comfy in there!

Its where they go in the vagina with their finger and run it in between the uterus and the cervix to separate the membranes. Something like that....it can possibly trigger labor within a couple days.....usually if u have dilated and ur in ur last week of pregnancy or so u can have it done.
