WIC here in Missouri is still running and they don't plan on shutting down.

@aurora92 uh, I beg to differ. It has not happened in every presidency. It has only happened twice. 95 & 96. Anyway, the wic here in Texas is still open.

I don't understand why the first thing they shutdown is wic! Obviously they could careless about pregnant women.

It should not be stopped for that long - the longest government shutdown to date has been 21 days. Most last 1-3 days. It has happened during every presidency since Carter except GB Jr. I think it's wise to save, of course, but this shouldn't be a long-term problem.

Idk if they stooped in GA how do I found out?  Im breast feeding my daughter when she gets here but the food helps out a lot smh.
