thank all so much! im up again, i think im through vomiting (fingers crossed) sore throat is constant though, I dont believe my fever is very high though, not over 99 but it feels way worse! i will call my doc first thing in the morning, and keep everyone updated. just now something weird happened. TMI TMI TMI:
i got sick, and while i was sick, i could feel thick discharge coming out, i almost panicked thinking it was blood. when i checked though, it was just thick discharge, sort of resembling a mucus plug to me but not as much. its just wierd, no cramping or anything though. I just want to see my dr. i havent even had the first check up yet. I wonder if they would see me a few days early knowing i was sick. thank everyone again.
Have you called your doctor yet? I would call in the morning just to be safe but a=stay hydrated! I will keep you in my prayers and I hope you feel better! Please keep us posted!
Oh don't stress yourself about it at all! Drink plenty of fluids and call your doctor if your fever goes over 100.4F to see what they need you to do. Get rest, sweetie!!!
Try to relax and not stress yourself out If it were me I would go get checked out. Your symptoms to me sound like you have the flu. I tested positive for type A & B influenza this last week and all i had was 99.5 temp. and just felt icky. The flu is going around pretty bad here in Texas and luckily I didn't have the new novel H1N1 (swine) flu. You can go the the flu.gov website and it can tell you more about the flu. I think it has a special link for pregnant women. Hope you get to feeling better. Try to get lots of rest and stay hydrated. Keep us updated.
keep ur self hydrated since u didnt mention anything respitory (lol sp) or chest related ex: cough is prob "stomach flu" not influenza which are 2 waaaaay different viruses use cold rags and just relax i know it seems like hell at the moment tho try putting one of those chicken cubs into a hot cup of water if ur sick of drinking water by doing so ur basically drinking chicken broth and like other girls said call dr if u get worried
if it gets worse i say go to the doctor but when i was pregnant i had the flu really bad around 15 wks i think and i was told to just rest, lay back and relax, stay hidrated and try to eat a little bit, it lasted only a few days ... best of luck.... call and ask your ob if you are worried.
the most important thing is to stay hydrated and control your fever. baby should be okay, women do get the flu while pregnant....but u do need to call your doctor and if you arent getting fluids down/ cant control your fever you do need to go to the hospital! im sorry that your sick, that must be scary. ..try to stay calm...we're here for you!
