Have any of u ladys ever used an enema while pregnant is it safe to use

I had the same problem and I'm 24 weeks ... this is my first so I didnt know what to do ... after trying all the options my doc gave me I have found that taking four stool softener a day and using the fleet saline enemas was my best option ... both were approved by my doc and are safe for Baby .. also very cheap at Wal-Mart ... had to use the enemas initially but now I only end up using one about every two weeks and I'm going at least twice a week ... hope they helps

Half an hr. My dr said to take it like the instructions say.until I go, it took one dose lol and I hadn't gone in 2 weeks straight

I had an enema and it wrked really well.. my dr advised me not to use mull if magnesia because that could take up to 24 hours n sometimes it cld cause cramping

How long did it take for the milk of magnesia to work

Have you tried milk of magnesia? It's all that worked for me in the beginning and since using it I haven't had a problem

Have you tried fiber? Or a safe stool softner?

Oh i hope it works i can't take this constipation anymore i go back to the doc the 30th but i can't wait till then this hurts

I have my dr said it was fine but it didnt help much unfortunately hope you have better luck
