baby constipated

I know this forum is not for bbys but i know theres ladies  here that already have bbys .. i would like to know what can i do to help my bby do #2 he has been 2 days without doin #2 nd i know hes constipated bc like 20min ago he did a lil bit like a lil ball nd it was hard, im a ftm nd he turned today 3 weeks.. thank you

i used suppositories with my daughter she was on a rice base formula and my son is 5 months now he had it doctor told me prune juice n not the baby one it worked

What I did with my daughter was take a Q-Tip and put a little baseline on it. While I had her in the bath, I inserted it just a little into her bottom and lifted get legs so the water could help, alot like a baby suppository but cheaper. That night she had a full diaper while I was feeding her. She was the same age as your baby.

I know there might be an age difference but my step son is 5 and he has that all the time. Go to walgreen or your local pharmacy and ask what you can give to the baby.

My niece and son had this problem. Dr told us to add a tablespoon of Karo syrup to the bottle whenever they need it. Just make sure you don't do it all the time or their bowels will come to depend on it

Thanks .. i know it hurts him bc he cries wen he is trying to push nd i get all sad i hate knowin my bby is in pain .. ill try the bby suppositories .. hope it works

My son was constipated for days and was miserable. I started using baby supositories and they worked like a charm
