.....this pregnancy's got me addicted to AirHeads o_o lol its not good at all,but i cant help it.. what are ya'll addicted to?
Buffalo wings with ranch and iceeys and cheeseburgers from micky ds and also their strawberry bannana shake so good ;)
Well actually i learned that from the trav channel & alaska state troopers lol never really looked it up on a website or anything & dont know too many people from alaska ,although i did meet one guy here who basically has a house over there for years already so he gets money from there and takes a lot of travel vacations,& own a car washing branch over here, he told me its beautiful but he said he didnt like living here too much ,but still kept his property, & he also said where he lived that thete were enougj hospitals close enough he said the same as you that its only certain cities that have those disadvantages! i want to ask though how do you deal with that period of time where its night time for a few months or day time, w/e it is lol..how does that work?
Mmmm airheads sounds good. I can't get enough of baked pretzels with cheese. Mmmmmm. And blue moon malts. Omg! They are so delicious lol.
lol Everyone cracks me up when they say that.. lol I swear if it wasn't for certain website and it relied on what people hear I would think they all thought we didn't drive vehicles but had sleds with snow dogs lol. There are plenty of hospitals and schools, drs. offices. etc Certain cities they have a medical office instead of a hospital that during the winter a dr. will actually live there due to not being able to fly out to the real hosptial but there is only a few cities that are like that. I live in Wasilla, and its like a regular city that down in the lower 48. When it comes to Airports. I think AK has like 6 or 7 total in the whole state. but they also have little tiny private airports everywhere! lol Its very nice, personally here in wasilla, you see more moose than bear. which can be scary but once you get used to it, and don't bother than its not bad. When it comes to being paid for being a residents that a yes and a no. You have to be a permanent resident for over a year before they will give you anything, So if you are only there for a couple years and so forth you are not qualified. The checks go out to the residents from the oil field profits. So each year it could be something really little to something really big. I think last year it was in the 700 range, and like a while back it was damn near 4,000 dollars, but with the economy taking a crap on us its been going down. :( However its beautiful here..
@ashkevin13, lol that is such a let down! i'd be mad ,but alaska does has its benifits though ,don't people get paid ust for being residenta there? ive wanted to live there before i think its so beautiful,but the only thing that scares me is how there are barely any airports or hospitals or there really far depending on where you live,thats the only thing i dont like for emergency reasons, oh & the bears scare me too! lol
Your telling me.. its kinda of a bummer. I will see certain commercials on tv for certain deals.. and its almost a gaurentee that it will not be the same deal in AK. lol I dont know if you remember the BK deal where you buy a whopper and get another whopper for 55 cents for their 55 years in business. Yep my hsuband and i got so excited we went out to do it. Here is buy a whopper and get a whopper for $1.55 its like everything here is a dollar more expensive.
Pickles with hot fries.. chocolate ice cream.. blueberry eggos, hot dogs.. n lemon pepper wings! From wingstop there soooo good!!:)
@ashkevin YOU are speaking my language i LOVE subway i have coupons so im over there alot lol & i get mines with the black olives to i loveee olives mmm!& that *****! alaska subway is false advertising lol
I dont have a craving I must eat almost everyday.. but I do have restaurant that i pretty much will eat at everyday if i could. SUBWAY!!! lol A toasted turkey sandwhich on hearty italian with a bunch of mixings and extra extra black olives, mayo and salt/pepper... Yummy I cant wait until we got 6 bucks so i can go get myself a footlong.. (PS in Alaska five dollar foot longs are actually $6+ lol)
I haven't really ate a certain food more then once I just like anything im not picky im just so happy that im eating bc my morning sickness was so hard to eat but now im eating whatever rather then what im feeling lol...I mean I drank alot of thoses frozen lemonades from wretzel pretezels
Cinnamon raisin swirl bagels, the Thomas brand. I eat one for breakfast every day (sometimes for dinner too)!
Taco bell and ice cream. My hubbys been taking me there almost everyday even tho I know he's sick of it lol
I love the ceaser salad feom olive garden its so big & yummy & cheap lol..they're having an unlimitted soup,salad,& breadstick special,i might go this week (=
the peach tea from Jack n the box, and the salad from olive garden! I always go to olive garden JUST for the salad lol!
Omgee im a cheese finatic lol, you know whats better with crackers though? cream cheese! Its my fav with ritz & saltine.
Haha maybe this was a bad idea. Im having a mixture of cravings at the moment so I'm settling for Ritz crackers and squeeze cheese! :)
