With a PSA of 6 and a history of swollen lymph gland, it is time you went to a urologist. The elevated PSA could mean several things, but you need to have yourself checked out ASAP. Get to a urologist. Please don't wait.
still in limbo wonderland. No more flare ups. Condition same over years. Flomax of no help for pain and no bacterial indications. Need biospy or what other test? PSA now almost 6!
Hi,
left testicle ache do not really mean prostatis.
There can be many causes for pain in the testis - acute epidymoorchitis, filiarial disease, TB orchitis, and so on. Left lymph node swelling indicates one among the infectious causes.
Prostatitis seems like an extremely common issue for men of any age. I'm 26 years old and have prostatitis now for 5 months. I've had cultures done on my prostatitic fluid, but no bacteria have grown, which is the common case. If you google prostatitis, you'll find a lot of information about it. It does not lead to or cause prostate cancer. I've been off and on antibiotics for the past 5 months, but nothing's helped. Unfortunately, it's not an easy condition to treat.
