Liver cysts on CT

Hi there,  I'm a 30 year old male, 6 months ago I had an abdominal and pelvic CT with oral and intravenous contrast looking for the cause of upper mid epigastric pain and lower cramps with chronic diahreah.     On the radio. reports (and I'm going from memory here) it said that I had "many tiny liver cysts too small to quantify or idendify" (can't remember the exact wording).  It also indicated bilateral renal cysts.     My doctors office reported the scan to me as "completely normal".      Later, upon EGD and colonoscopy, autoimmune proctitis was identified as cause for the lower cramps and diahreah, and erosion due to NSAID overuse was identified as cause for the upper-mid pain.   My symptoms have vastly improved after stopping NSAID's and my lower pain occasionally flairs up but I'm mostly okay without meds, just watching my diet.  Here's the thing though--in the last few months (starting a few days after the scopes), I went from borderline hypertensive to an avg bp of 100/60 with symptoms of hypotension and spontaneous syncope/bp drops, with all my blood chemistry being normal this is a mystery.   How do you think the CT findings factor into this, and do you believe that maybe the autoimmune situation is getting out of control in my body?

Thank you for your time, I know my question is rather complex and I do appreciate your attention very much.

Hi,   I had ct with contrast and it showed renal cysts and possible live lesions.  I had an MRI and it showed liver cysts and Dr. also said not a problem unless they hurt or bothered me. I am not going to worry about it as I have no problems so I thinkyou need an MRI and that will  show the cysts

It seems strange that your CT scan showed multiple cysts in liver and kidney and yet was reported normal at the age 30yrs it is a significant finding, if we take your hypertension into account it could be Adult Polycystic kidney disease with associated liver cysts. This is also associated with diverticulosis so that can explain ur GI symptoms, u need to show to an experienced urologist to evaluate further. Another association of this condition is intracranial aneurysms.

Your CT findings need to be reviewed with a urologist/nephrologist.

The NSAID overuse was due to my chronic daily headache condition, which also remains a mystery.
