I agree with windriven, it would be a good idea to get another opinion. Usually kids that young don't have allergies (except for food) until a little later (it takes time to build up exposure of the allergen), at least that is what my son's allergist said to me at one point. I cold be wrong though... The only way to find out for sure is to take him to a pulmo where he can be assessed head to toe and given the right tests. Sunny
Get a second opinion or tell (don't ask) your doc to refer you to a pulmonary specialist because you are concerned. If you like your pedi, then this way you can keep'em because you're seeing a specialist, not another pedi. The pulmonary specialist will have broader knowledge and experience in this area.
