Lung Infection for 2.5 months, now rib pain

Last August I (I am 18) was diagnosted with Bronchitis, in my lower lung.  This was not good because I had cronic lung problems when I was a baby (bronchitis then phnemonia, then repeat) and it was very hard to get rid of.  My doctor gave me a weeks worth of a pills (the name escapes me, B--- something then 3 letters, anyway.)  I took all of the medicine and was a little better.  I had gained my voice back (I had lost my ability to talk almost completely) but it took me two weeks to get my singing voice back.
The thing is I still cannot sing to my fullest and I cough mostly in the morning, and I get dizzy.  My most recent worry is that I have developed a light pain (about a 1) right under my right breast in the rib area.  The pain increases when I laugh, sing, play instruments, cough or breathe heavily (to about a 3 or 4).
I doubt I still have bronchitis, it is just I have lived a healthy life for so long, having pain and being sick worries me.
    Thank you for you time.

Being unable to sing to your fullest suggests a vocal cord or laryngeal problem, not caused by bronchitis.  If you are raising a lot of mucous that is getting hung-up in your throat, this could also affect the quality of your singing voice.

Cough, whatever the cause, can make anyone dizzy.  Sometimes people even faint when they cough.  The dizziness is not a sign of something worse going on.  Knowing that you might become dizzy, however, it is important that you be cautious when driving or walking down stairs or working with dangerous equipment, so as to not seriously injure yourself or others.

The pain you describe is most likely coming from a rib fracture or stretched ligaments between the ribs, either of which can occur with harsh coughing.  You should "splint" the area by lightly pressing your hands over the area when you cough.  If this pain continues, you should have further evaluation with a chest X-ray.

To put an end to your worry the best thing to do is to have a chest x-ray and PFT if your doc suggests. Morning cough is to clear the collected secretion from your respiratory tracts and the pain may originate from the muscles between ribs as you said you experience pain when you do something that expands your chest.
