Breathing difficulty

Hi

I am 32yrs old female working mum with 3 kdis.  I have been having shortness of breath since few years ago probably 3-4yrs back.  I have childhood asthma but recovered since 12yrs old and no relapsed.  But since few yrs back, have been feeling shortness of breadth.  I have to take long breath and still feel like I did not get enough oxygen.  It's like having flu and you feel like your lungs are weak cos the nose is blocked.  I have pinching pain at my heart area too.  It's always there.  Never go away.  But when I did ECG like 3-4yrs back, my reading was fine.  Doctor said might be due to muscle pull.

I am cautious abt my diet like avoid eating oily food, more veg less meat in all my diet.  The only lacking thing is exercising.  I don't exercise.  And I might be stressed up too.  Got to juggle work and family w kids.  I'm in sales so got to meet targets.

Could it be due to stress or do I have heart problem like blocked arteries/heart attack??

Hello, exercise avoidance is probably due to the shortness of breath/chest pain,I would suggest going to doctor and having a simple chest x-ray,it can rule out a lot of stuff, although the pain feels were the heart is,it could be the left lung as it is partially lies on top of the heart. If chest x-ray is fine,I would ask for inhaler for asthma as see if it helps.

Your asthma may have returned, or you may need to start excercising. My friend was having non stop heart pains, and the cause was that she had stopped excercising. But i would consult your doctor again, and make sure that it is not asthma.
