middle turbinate disfunction and headache

Hello, for about a year now I've been having this dull pressure headache...centered in the middle of my forehead between my eyes but I really feel it all over and deep inside my head behind my eyebrows.    I also have what seems to be a constant blocked nose but its very dry.    I look in my nose and if I pry the first turbinates open and look, the next ones (the middle ones i guess) are allways swolen and in contact with the nasal wall (the septum?).   Both sides are allways allways swolen and rarely the first set will shrink  usually that happens after intense exercise.    I have had a full neurologic workup.  Since the neuro can't find anything, I've convinced myself that I'm  having nasal contact headaches, due to having read things online.  There are websites that say that people qualify for turbinate surgery if, the contact points are numbed and the headache goes away.   So before I bring this up to my doctor, I am seeking some backup here for if this even makes any sense or if you've heard anything about turbinate disfunction contact headaches before?   Also if you have what quality would the headaches have or does it vary? (throbbing, dull, etc).    I can also further fuel my theory by the fact that if I hold my nose and blow air hard into my ears the headache is dramatically reduced (the baloon effect in my nose taking off the pressure??).

What do you think?   I'd be willing to do surgery if it's the answer because the constant pain is an extreme nuisance.  Negative allergy testing by the way, so I have no idea what could be causing the disfunction of my turbs.
