If they can biopsy something else like skin lesions, lymph nodes, it is another alternative. Not knowing what the CT showed or what your symptoms are I can't be of much help beyond that.
In diagnosing Sarcoidosis they test the serum ACE level, but this is still just an indicator that they put together with the whole clinical package not a slam dunk in itself.
Sarcoidosis is a diagnosis of exclusion and can only really be diagnosed through biopsy of suspicious tissue, which is usually lung tissue, or hilar, mediastinal, or auxiliary lymph nodes.
