Dry throat and fatigue, no fever

Yesterday after i took my nap my throat feels a bit dry. It wasn't that bad until i smoked later that night, where it began to feel much worse. I woke up this morning with a dry throat and fatigue. It feels kinda feverish but my temp hasn't been rising at all. I've been drinking lots of water and some paracetamol to get rid of the feverish feeling. I've tried soothing my throat by drinking some hot tea. Any suggestions to make this better? Thank you!

Is it possible that this is perhaps an allergic reaction?

Well, you could be coming down with something. And smoking will never help that if you have a dry throat. I know it's a habit but it's going to make it worse. I'd keep drinking the tea and see if it passes or if you come down with a cold.

Well it's a lot better when i swallow, it felt like i had tv statics in my throat, now it's not that bad anymore, but sometimes i feel like coughing now. I did my PCR test for Covid and thankfully it came out negative. Hopefully i get a lot better soon. Thank you for your responses!
