Dull chest ache - Left hand side. Please help!

I wonder if anyone can help. For about 4-5 days I have had a dull ache on the right hand side of my chest, it is definately internal, feels like its just under the chest bone. It is worse when i exhale deeply and also when i swallow (especially dry foods) It got so bad today I left work and went to the doctors.

I had an ECG and that was ok (thankfully) by blood pressure is slightly raised at 144/90. But that could be because I was stressed out over the pain. The ache is constant but a hot water bottle took the edge off it this evening.

I have no pain when I move nor when I press the chest area. I did have a couple of nights drinking last week but this did not start until a few days after. I also trained my chest in the gym last week but didnt feel anything crack or pop.

I have thought about reflux but it doesnt feel like that.

I have been told to see how i feel over the next couple of days and go back. I am left very worried, im 28 and concerned I may have heart disease or something!!

Has anyone else had this?

Ive had the same symptoms now for 21 days, but its a very deep pain.  After being in the hospital for 2 days, having my heart tested in every day, they say that my heart is not my problem. THe problem is, they dont know. Its getting worse and worse.  Now I have having circulation problems in my head/face area, and it constantly feels like my face is flush, and getting no bloodflow.  The pain is a dull ache in the heart area, sometimes its very painful, sometimes its just a low level ache.  I did the stress test, and ekg, and all that stuff, and its not my heart.
Im 6ft2, 180lbs, non smoker, low blood pressure, cholesterol is in good shape.  They just cannot find anything wrong... but this pain, its unlike any other pain Ive ever felt. Its the kind of pain that you know, it is telling you, that something is not right here.  I am going back to the hospital today, and not leaving until they do a CT scan and figure it out.

did u ever get an answer, i have the same syptoms sound like were very similar, robsroom169 at hotm ai l ******* ,  im thinking reflux, cause i ate tomatoes, threw them all up after my stomach enlarged to twice its size, then after i threw it all up stomach size went down, i started to heal, now i have the aches in my chest, right hand side, Probably sore from throwing up, but might be from the acid from the reflux that i might also have, could also be something like a tear in teh stomach,  Do u have alot of phlemn?i dont have a lot, but its there, but not all the time. Id love the answer to this, its day 3 of this ****, and im trying to sleep

I forgot to add I am a non smoker. I am on my feet daily at work. I am 5'6 and 13.5 stone, but this is mainly muscle not fat.
