How low can SpO2 levels be with pneumonia?

My mum has pneumonia, she’s expected to pass soon. I noticed the other day that her SpO2 levels had dropped down to 80. I was wondering how low they can get before she’ll pass?

Well that's low.  Why do you assume she's going to die?
