How do you live with severe COPD

What is the life of a patient that have Copd. I was told that I have severe copd 5 or 6 years ago.  I just would like to gets some ideal what is the life span. I can see myself becoming less and less able to take care of myself and my needs.

Obviously one can stop smoking, or exposing oneself to contaminated air from whatever source.

I believe COPD is usually due to damage done to the lungs by exposure to unhealthy environments... get out of them and live near sea level, this will help prevent further damage, and improve the quality of life however long it lasts.

Think yourself better than what others tell you, you can be well, so be well.  God in heaven is on your side and you have the power within yourself if he abides there.  What were people told by Jesus when healed, Go and  ...  no more.  :)
