IS THIS ASHMA?

IVE BEEN SAYING TO MY DOCS WELL OVER 5 YEARS I STRUGGLED FOR BREATH, BENDING DOWN AND ANYTIME I HAD TO CARRY OR LIFE ANYTHING. I'M 39, I ALSO HAD TIGHTTNESS IN ALL MY BODY FROM TOP TO BOTTOM, DEVELOPED WATER RENTION, A BAD TIGHT HEAD. PAIN DOWN MY LEFT NECK, TIGGLING FEELING IN MY BACK. INDESTION. MY LAST PEAK FLOW READINGS WAS 340 EVENING  AND 28O MORNING.
IM COMPLETELY EXHAUSED ALL THE TIME, ISNT LIMITING ME TO WORK FULL-TIM AND I SEEM TO BE HAZEY IN THE HEAd until after 10am. SINCE THE INHALER ON SATURDAY I FELT A COMPLETE RELATION IN MY BODY BUT MY BACK IN BURNING INSIDE AND IT FEELS REALLY SORE. JUST WANT SOMEONE TO RUB IT BETTER, SORRY 2 SOUND PATHETIC BUT ITS NORING. I HAVE FOOD INTOLERANCE BUT UNSURE IF I HAVE GOT THAT FOR YEARS AS I HAVE BEEN RUNNING ON EMPTY. I GIVE UP WITH THE DOCS AS I DON'T REALLY FEEL SUPPORTED AT PRESENT.

Hi

Thanks for the info.

I hope to god i dont have exercise induced ashma as before i was ill i loved exercise and sport. I find i'm ok with badminton and swimmiming but walking hills i struggle. Sorry to hear you have that type.

Basically the docs really havent told me anything bar here is an inhalor and go away. Didn't even say come back for a review. No referrals but i did write to them today to say i would like to have my lungs checked and see a specialist. Least i know the name of the type of person i need to see now.

The above should say it is limitiing me workwise too. working less so struggling financially. Want to find out all i can so i can get back to earning again and have a good quality of life, the best i can.

I am on 8 puffs a day and this seems to be giving me some quality but i cant seem to be able to reduce it yet without feeling bad again.

Asthma is not always due to allergies.  I have exercise-induced asthma and bending down and/or carrying or lifting make me short of breath.  Cold air really bothers me, as does air that is too hot or humid.  Are you seeing a pulmonologist.  Yes, I have noticed that when my lungs are "acting up" I am very tired and have brain fog.
