thanks to those who understand that I just need the extra comfort. I don't think I have heart problems, its just that my mother died young from heart problems, and being 22 I don't want to fall into the same pattern

Dear Krista,
If your problem is persisting, please check back with your internist & let him/her know, so more can be done to get you a long term answer.  It will also help your interist decide whether you need to be referred to an appropriate specialist for further evaluation.
Best of luck!

Dear Krista-
Although I cant sware to this, I am pretty sure your question will be answered.  As I was scrolling back, trying to find your question I noticed that most questions were eventually answered.  I hope your question will be answered soon, and I hope you get well soon.  I think that reposting it is the best you can do, and just hope for a response. As starion wrote, its good to consult an internest near you, but I understand your want for comfort and maybe "second opinions", I think thats why most of us are posting here. I'm waiting for my question to be answered aswell... (maybe the nurses are on vacation). Best of luck!

Dear Krista,
The questions posted on this Forum, as stated in the background info about the Forum, are answered by a LungLine Nurse (not a doctor) at National Jewish Medical & Research Center.  The answers given on this Forum are NOT intended as a substitute for examination and consultation with your doctor(s), as it can by its nature this Forum and all similar formats can only provide general information.
I would strongly urge you to work with your internist to help you come up with answers based on a thorough physical examination of you and your medical records, and any testing and referrals he or she believes appropriate to help resolve your concerns.
If finances are a concern, there are resources available to assist with medical needs.
Best of luck!
Aloha,
Starion
