I got really sick last year with flu but it kinda never went away and morphed into this lung and sinus problem
Every morning I wake up my nose is blocked and my lungs/chest is full of mucus.,I spend 4 to 5 hours spitting up the flem/mucus,And have a really bad cough...it goes away for maybe an hour or 2 in the day but once night starts coming it gets worse
Its getting worse and most nights i only get 4 hours sleep

It sounds like you may have sinusitis. Have you tried to do salt water irrigations? You can use a cup, or a netti pot, or a syringe to squirt the salt water (1/2 tsp salt & 1/2 tsp baking soda in 1 cup of water) up your sinuses, until it runs into your throat. I usually repeat this till I see lots of gunk come out. I tend to get infections, so thick green stuff tends to get stuck in the sinuses. The flushes are really good for removing it and cleansing them. Infection also requires antibiotics to completely clear it up.

The other thing you can do is get a pulmonary function test done to see if maybe there is some asthma. You are describing a lot of night time coughing. Asthma does tend to be worse at night for many people. It can also be aggravated by sinusitis and GERD. However, all your mucous just may very well be the culprit of your symptoms.
