Sinus pressure / tinnitus / tiredness

I'm 34 female and I've been suffering from tiredness for the past few months now. The tiredness is worse the day after and up to 3 days after exercise (not the aching muscle tiredness, bu t more of a heavy limb feeling). I also have a feeling of pressure in my sinuses, mainly on the left side of my nose and round the inside of the eye socket. I sometimes get a low grade headache but nothing too painful. I've had quite a few coughs and colds since Christmas but all have cleared up. I did have one day of bad headache a couple of weeks ago and felt very tired that day. I do quite a lot of swimming 2-3 times a week as its the only exercise I can do due to bad arthritis in my ankle due to polio.

I've had blood tests to rule out thyroid problems and the last full blood count was 2 in March. Another has been ordered today. The doctor doesnt think its a sinus problem as I dont have any discharge, just the feeling of pressure. This pressure sometimes gets worse when I move. He checked my eyes for signs of pressure (plus I've had an eye exam recently). I'm guessing some of the tiredness may be pain related due to my ankle, although the pain is mainly only weight bearing pain so does not stop me sleeping. My main thought is some kind of sinus problem? Is there any over the counter medication I should try (I was thinking maybe trying a hayfever remedy or decongestant even though I don't seem to have any noticeable discharge).

If there is a question of the sinuses being involved, it is an easy diagnosis to determine.  A CT scan of the sinuses will immediately make the diagnosis or rule it out.

Without a complete physical exam, it is difficult to tell the cause of the fatigue.  This is a common symptom of many problems.  A thorough physical exam and appropriate testing may be needed if the CT scan is normal and the symptoms persist.
