Wondering what this could be?

Hello everyone. I will get checked out, but for the last couple of weeks I've had a tickle in my chest (no coughing), pain in what feels like my lungs and tingling in the hands. Sometimes I get a slight dizzy/nauseous feeling. I exercise regularly but feel more out of breath now than I used to.

I don't smoke and never have. Had a whole set of blood work done over the summer and all was normal. Cholesterol was great, blood sugar levels and so on. I'm not overweight by any means and generally watch what I eat.

Could it be neurological?

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Jay

Thanks Sunny. Asthma crossed my mind. In the past I've had bouts with bronchitis as well. I think I will get checked out with PFTs. For example, right now I feel great so it's random and it seems to depend on a number of factors that I can't pinpoint as exact causes. So asthma is a possibility as my doctor mentioned it when I was there a while back for bronchitis. I guess it's time to follow that up.

Thanks and have a great day.

Do you happen to hyperventilate? The tingling could be from that...I am just guessing though. I wonder if you have asthma or some kind of irritation of your airways, especially with your shortness of breath. Do you get that way with exercise or is it just random? If you are feeling that way especially after exercising then asthma is a consideration and you should have lung tests (PFT's) to see if that is the case.
I am by no means a doctor, just a former nurse. What I say is just my random thoughts that aren't meant to replace a doctor's opinion.
I hope you get answers soon,
Sunny
