I'm a 40 yr old female; underwent sinus surgery in 2001-successful; facial trauma in 2002, since then underwent two sinus surgeries, & removal of submandibular gland due to stone; underwent cortisone/epidural shots due to trauma of neck. Currently experiencing frontal sinus major pain and pressure; tmj swelling traveling down neck into shoulders; ear aching at all times but no infection; eyes feel like there swelling from behind; CT/MRI of sinus and temporal -normal; please help!! Left side of neck constantly tight and painful, stemming from left ear; temporal pressure to frontal sinus and vice versa. Unsure what's wrong with me. I must have seen 100's of doctors. All stem back to sinus/tmj. I'm not sure anymore because symptoms still exist. Major dizziness. unbalanced when walking. Annoying.
Sorry about not giving my symptoms. My symptoms when I get sick are shortness of breath, lungs very congested, hard to cough anything up, chest tight, usually my lower legs swell, no energy, just feeling lousy
My back on the left side starts hurting. There is no fever. When I do cough anything up it is sometimes white foamy and sometimes slight pale yellow. The Dr have ran test on my heart and they came back negative also. I have been diagnosed with MRSA. My Dr said it's nothing to be concerned about. I hope this will help you. Like I said I'm sorry for not putting my symptoms down.
Thank you for all your help.
For whatever reason you '..end up in the hospital', it is not COPD/emphysema. The information you've provided does not describe the fashion in which you get sick; does not describe the symptoms and so it is not possible to speculate on the cause.
It is good news that your tests are normal.
