difficulty breathing

For the past 3 months I have had difficulty breathing which is getting progressively worse. I have also been extremely fatigued-sleeping around 14 hours and I get heart palpitations and can't breathe just walking up stairs. I am 28, slightly overweight and a smoker (although for the past 6 months I smoke max 2-3 a day). I have also experienced tingling and numbness in the tips of my fingers and toes.I've had recurrent throat infections over the past 18 month-every 3 months they come back and are treated with antibiotics. Any advice on what this migjht be would be appreciated.

Hello,

I have been experiencing absolutely ALL your symptoms. Plus, night sweats, dry cough, back pain and rashes. It has been 5 months since my symptoms arrived. Hopefully, someone will come with an answer.

Good luck,

Hello and welcome to MedHelp!!

This could be several things.  You need to discus GERD and asthma with your doctor both of which could be the source of your problem.  Also, a good heart work up to rule out problems there would be advised since you are experiencing palpitations.

Please let us know what your doctor says and how you are doing.

God bless.
