Fiberglass insulation laws of use

Hi -- My building super put fiberglass insulation into my A/C unit, which is open to the elements and was exposed to harsh weather. It was rained on and exposed to harsh winds, which broke down the insulation and released fiberglass all over my living room. It's migrated a bit into the hallway and into our bedrooms and bathroom but not to the massive degree that's in the living room around the a/c unit.

I've been having a horrendous skin problem, got my skin biopsied and the dermatologist concluded that it was caused by fiberglass. When I walk in the living room my feet become massively swollen, it feels like I'm being stung but it's also incredibly itchy.  I've had respiratory infections, sinusitis and so has my son.

There's a possibility that the insulation could have caused mold to grow, too.

I'm asking my building to have the apartment cleaned up thoroughly, since they introduced the material into the apartment but they aren't doing anything about it.

Does anyone know what the law is about putting fiberglass material where tenants can breath it and be exposed to the particles?

You have a tort case against the super and the building owner. It is clear the insulation was improperly installed. This stuff is almost impossible to get rid of.
