I have had 4 sinus surgeries in the last four years....the ent opened up the windows  and guess what, nothing seemed to help, within a month I was right back to infections with pseudonomas, strep and staph!!!!!!   I have used every antibiotic in the book plus.

Here was the solution:  I demanded a culture be sent to Mayo Clinic who have a new staining tool for diagnosis of culture......guess what,   for over four years I was being treated for the wrong thing...it was an Alternaria fungal infection....all the drugs, lavages, cleaning out did absolutely nothing but make the problem worse.  I went to an infectious disease specialist and now take a low dose of prednisone, nasal steroid, and the new drug voriconazole, and anti fungal systemic....I will follow this up with amphotericin B for at least 3 months.

It really seems to be working.      See an infectious disease specialist after you get the culture taken.
Good luck

Those may be perfectly reasonable recommendations but I cannot comment without medical records and radiographic studies.  About 10% of patients will benefit from "re-do" surgery in select cases.
