please help i think i have lung cancer

i am 20 years old adn thought that i was having a heart attack and i have been to the ER approximatly 7 times for this problem and all they say is that it is a pulled chest wall muscle well...BULL because it never goes away when i am doing nothing and i do not believe that it would stay for 2 years. in my left side inside almost in the middle of my chest to the left under my breast is a nasty feeling all day every day. it hurts when i breathe and when i sneeze i have a musky scent that comes out, does anyone have any idea before i go back or go see a specialist? do i have lung cancer?

Hi maddylynn32,

I don't know what tests they did on you in the ER,but you could do a chest x-ray,chest CT,heart EKG,heart ultrasound, complete blood count/coagulation factors, breast exam/mammogram,esophageal endoscopy, and go to chiropractor and get some adjustments if you also have any thoratic back pain.

Lung Cancer is usually asymptomatic until the person starts coughing up blood or loses their voice. Their is a lot of stuff far more common than cancer that can cause pain in the chest, plus being a 20 year old female your odds are pretty low of having lung cancer.

Here's a link were you can read about possible causes, take care:
