Sinus Infection?

I went to the doctor 12 days ago    was told I had bronchitis and asthma  Got z pack and prednisone and prednisone shot.  Not any better - now slight cough, headache, congestion, dizzy and flushed and at night wake up all sweaty.   So what do you think has it now developed into a sinus infection -- can any of this cause night sweats   I am worried and wonder what is going on     Thank you

Thank you  I did go back to the doctor for another antibiotic and I am pleased to report that I am much better -  Thank you  it is a blessing to feel better

That you would still have cough, headache, congestion and night sweats twelve days after beginning treatment with a Z-pack, strongly suggests that, whatever the site of the original infection, the cause of that infection was not responsive to the antibiotic.  At this time any persistent infection could be located in either your lungs or your sinuses.

You should seek medical attention, for reevaluation, without delay, today if possible.  What you have described is a serious situation.
