All the negative/normal studies and doctor examinations are reassuring and almost certainly rule out serious disease.  While “minor” the reflux could be responsible for the feeling of “something” in your throat.  A trial of treatment for it might be worth considering.  That could also be a cause of mucus in your throat but that could also be postnasal drip that might be responsive to nasal washes and perhaps a nasal steroid spray; perhaps along with a nasal decongestant.

However, in many instances the feeling of “something” in one’s throat is due to anxiety.  Anxiety does not cause excessive mucus in one’s throat but it is possible for a person to become fixated on its presence and thus exaggerate its importance.

Good luck.
