Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Trich, Herpes or ?

This is my problem: Have been in a serious relationship for several years and never strayed until about 4 weeks ago. I have HSV1 & 2, but have never had any known outbreaks of the genital. The blood test was in 1996. On 10-3-08, I had sex with someone I didn't really know. I got a handjob and she lubricated me with her saliva. A condom was used for vaginal penetration.

On 11-2-08, I felt a soreness in one specific spot of my uretha. Later in the day I had two small sores appear on the top of my penis. They were less than 1/8" in size if that. That night I had to urinate almost every hour, and had a hard time starting and there was only small amounts of urine. On 11-3-08, I went to my Doctor. He said it looked like herpes and did a culture to send to the lab, and gave me Valtrex which I started. On 11-4-08, I started noticing a discharge and pain when urinating. It wasn't pus, but was similar to what a fire ant bite liquid looks like. I went on my own that same day to a lab to have a urine screen done for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea.

On 11-5-08, I went back to my Doctor about the discharge, pain during urination and redness around my uretha. He cultured it and said that shouldn't be from herpes. He cultured it with a swab to send off to the lab (no results back yet). I asked about it also being Trichomoniasis and he said he would prescribe something to take care of it all. He prescribed me Cipro and said it was too early from my encounter for a blood test for herpes. He would not prescribe anything for my girlfriend.

That same day I went to the Health Department, and got the full screening. I was given an injection (unknown), 1g of Zithromax pills, and 2g of Metronidazole pills. The results have not come back yet. When I got home I obtained the results of my previous test from the lab and they were negative for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea.

On 11-6-08, my doctor's nurse informed me that the culture he took on my first visit for herpes came back negative.

I am wanting my girlfriend to start medicating for the possibility of something, but her doctor won't prescribe her anything until my results get back. I have read where Cipro will treat Gonorrhea, but not Chlamydia, and where Azithromycin will treat both and some sites only say it will treat the Chlamydia only. I know that Metronidazole is the only thing for Trichomoniasis. We are not having sex until we both are properly diagnosed and treated.

I guess my question is what treatment and meds are correct, and could the symptons actually be related to herpes?

You had protected sex so you were not at risk for gonorrhea or chlymidia. Saliva does not transport STD's.

I doubt that you have any STD other then herpes. I don't know if you have herpes or not but your test says you do not.

I forgot to clarify that when I first noticed the discharge it was more clear at first and similar to pre---. A day or two after the health department visit and medications it turned to the other consistency and color. The discharge was never white, yellow or green and it didn't come out in a so called "drop".
