Clymidia and oral sex
I recently got tested and it confirmed that I had contracted Clymidia. On receiving treatment the doctor informed me not to have any sexual contact with my partner for 7 days after my treatment and until his treatment was completed also. My only worry is that when I received my treatment the doctor explained that oral sex can lead to clymidia in your throat, and sticking to the doctors warning of having no intercourse we decided that I would give my male partner oral sex, while on my treatment, I just have a few worries about this now:
1. Would having oral sex during my treatment affect the results?
2. Should I get tested for clymidia in my throat?
3. Should I get retested after treatment to ensure that the clymidia in my genitals is completely gone?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
