Discharge

Having had relations with a new partner about a month ago, and a general desire to know one way or another, I went to a free clinic today.  I was administered a urethra swab, and when I urinated a little while ago (about 6 hours after the swab) I noticed a rush of a mostly clear, pale white fluid.  I had experienced nothing like this before.  Also, there is swelling on the right side of the "head"  of my penis, and what appears to be a raised red bump.

Prior to the screening, I'd once before experienced the swelling.  It occurred after ejaculation.  Other symptoms were occasional irritation when urinating (very mild) or at the tip of my penis and just today, a bit of discomfort in my testicles.  I will freely admit that I'd been worried sick these past few weeks, and I think I might have just dreamt some of these conditions up.  However, I quite clearly did experience the swelling, and I'm worried and wondering what it could be.  Most of all, I'm worried if I could have contracted anything at the clinic from the swab (other than an enormous amount of pain).  Any information or help would be greatly appreciated.

Its tough to say if its an infection or not, since the symptoms are vague, mild, and not constant.

My guess is that you don't have anything to worry about, but your lab results will tell you for sure.

Also, if you have urethritis, that's nothing to be afraid of.  You'd get an antibiotic and be fine.

Thanks!!! Sorry, but I was just so very worried.  I was only afraid because it was something new, and I was scared I might have developed something like urethritis.  Which I was scared of having in the first place.

If I may ask, does it sound like anything to you? And generally speaking, thank you so very much for being so helpful!

You might have some irritation from the swab, but you woudln't have "caught" anything from that.

To clarify, when I mean that I might have dreamt these symptoms, it was more in the sense of if my mind was elsewhere, I didn't seem to notice anything wrong.  Moreover, about half the time, when experiencing symptoms (likely when reading up on them, but also at other times) I'd be able to think something like "knee pain", and the irritation would simply go away.

Anyway, I've been tested already, but I'd really love any insight you guys could give.  Thanks so much in advance!
