Does someone have to get tested for NGU?

Are there tests for NGU?

and if a person tests clean for chlamydia, which causes NGU, then I won't have to worry about NGU right?

because I have frequent peeing, and after I pee, I feel stuff comes out like 1-2 minutes after (but this also depends on whether i make sudden movements, which causes fluid to come out; but sometimes it comes out even if i sit still)..idk what it is, it looks watery..maybe it is pee, but it doesn't look yellow...a little clear....

you need to go to your doctor monday for further work up.  there really isn't anything else we can do to help you with this at this point .You have continuing symptoms so you need to be seen and have more testing done.

update: today was just plain weird.

when i peed, i felt a burning sensation and the fact hat something was clogging up. so i tried to pee some more, and yellowish-orange discharge (it was sticky too) came out....

does this sound like something? the only thing that gives off purulent discharge is gonorrhea, but the guy tested clean for that...

also, people on here say that most of the population already has hsv-1.

how is that even possible? i mean, despite making out and stuff.

but the doctors on the std forum said that children can get it from caregivers? how would that work? unless the caregivers--parents--were making out with their children....

ok i haven't been on here in a while, but today i felt like an "explosion" sensation on my penis. and it somewhat hurt..although it lasted like 3 seconds and it was a small "explosion" if you get what i mean-->on the pimples on the underbelly of my penis. but when i checked them, they still looked intact..

1.) if one has herpes, how long do lesions usually stay for? i saw 2-3 weeks, and then they scab over? these pimples have been there for the 7 weeks since it happened..probably before too..but this explosion thing scared me.

2.) how can one tell the difference between discharge and urine?

3.) if ngu is left untreated, is this harmful? like, if it is non-clahmydia ngu or whatever.

thank you very much.

NGU is curable with prompt treatment.  So no, it is not "dangerous" for men.

ou will have  irritation on your urethra and you dont have that. symptoms just dont go away. This is not STD related from what you describe. Relax young man.  You are too young for this anxiety. Please for your sake and your minds, USE CONDOMS.

One LAST post. has nothing to do with whether i have one or not. just some quick questions about ngu. if i am bothering you guys, then don't respond and i'll leave it alone. thank you.

yes, i know all of you have said that i don't have one, but i just want to ask a couple questions about what ngu does.

1.) asha site says ngu symptoms include discharge, pain, and burning. do all of these symptoms HAVE to occur at Same time, or is just one symptom enough?

2.) does ngu symptoms happen throughout the day? or can they be like once a day or just randomly?

3.) is ngu dangerous to men?

thank you.

if you are old enough to have sexual activity, you are old enough to be examined by a doctor by yourself. In the US, if you are 14 years of age, you have to actually invite your parents into the room, they can't automatically come in with you.  If you have issues to discuss with your doctor, you need to do that, not withhold info because your parents are there.  If you want, call your clinic monday and ask for your doctor's email addy so that you can discuss issues privately with him that you weren't comfortable discussing with your parents in the room and run this past him again.

coughing can cause urine leakage too.

Please, no more posts about this on this forum. it's not a std issue. there isn't anything else we could possibly add for you at this point unless you get a + std result at some point you want some support for or a 2nd opinion on.

As Grace said, we have told you everything we possibly can at this point.  You will know nothing for sure unless you get tested.  Again...there is nothing more to tell you at this point.

the guy who assaulted me said he got tested a week after, and he was clean for everything. he didn't do anything until me...so i guess it would be accurate, and the last time he did anything was 4 years ago, or so he says.

Bottom line is you won't know unless you get tested.

oh, i see...but i read that in urine test, they could see if anything is wrong, and white blood cells usually indicate something. but alright...

anyway, i read that non-clahmydial ngu clears up on its own, then i guess i'm fine....ugh.

You will not be tested for std unless the doctor sees a reason to.  And if you do not tell him about your sexual activity, then he will not know there is a reason to test for stds.

i'm sorry, i'm just a little stressed. i know i shouldn't be since you guys said i don't have an std.

i went to my doctor yesterday because i had an appointment about this cough i had. i told him that when i cough, urine comes out, and he said if it continues, we can do a urine test. i didn't tell him about this, because my parents were in the room too since i'm underage, but i'm assuming the urine test would see if there is anything there?

If you read our read before posting post on this forum - we ask folks to please keep all their questions in their original post instead of making multiple news posts all the time like you have been doing.  continue to violate this rule of posting and I will ask medhelp to give you an official warning.  thank you for your cooperation about this to help keep the forum running smoothly.

Your issue isn't a std related issue. it sounds more like the valve in your urethra isn't tight enough and you are leaking urine more than anything.  there isn't really anything we could possibly add to help you with this at this point. You need to consistently follow up on this with your urologist to try to get to the bottom of things.  unless you get a + test result, not really anything we could add to help you.

i don't get it though, i keep seeing stains in my underwear. and 10 minutes after i pee, i see some liquid at the top...to me, it looks a little milky, but i can't be too sure. does ngu have to have ALL of the symptoms (pain, burning, discharge) or can it have only discharge, which i'm not sure is discharge at all though...
