Oral exposure to STD.

I will try to keep this to the point as possible.
29 year old male, uncircumcised.
On Aug 12 – Received oral without a condom from an escort. 5 minutes, e/j outside mouth.
Aug 18 – Noticed discharge – greenish/yellowish at head of penis (not much), plus burning inside 1cm of urethra, itching at tip of penis.
Aug 19 - Local STD clinic did urethral swab (hurt like hell) and took urine sample. Told me its NGU – gave me generic Zithromax 1G one dose. Urine tests not back for 3 weeks. Told its not Gonorrhea.
Aug 22 – Feeling of really burning in urethra, NOT when I urinate but after – feels like something is still there and wants to drip out 1cm inside, itchy tip too on and off. Feels like I always have to pee, like something is still in my bladder but nothing, or little comes out. Used a urethral swap q-tip with warm H2O to itch urethra inside….felt sooo much better for rest of day.
Aug 23 – Went to general clinic told them of my symptoms, Doc stated that it does not sound like herpes (I think otherwise). Gave me another 1G Zithromax, 400mg Suprax.
Aug 25 – . Had a feeling of very hot scrotum, not burning but very hot, near anus too for 3-4 hours. 2 hours after masturbation.
Wondering what the hell I caught and I know its something. I think its, HSV-1 I know it can be urethral in nature and asymptomatic otherwise. The urethral burning is sometimes very rare, some days only for 30 minutes after 2 weeks post exposure. Used Polysporin in my urethra with q-tip a couple of times for the night and before the tip of penis felt hot or burning sensation.
After first dose of Zithromax, 2 days later I had extreme insomnia, severe anxiety attacks at night, loss of appetite, chills, cold sweats at night, feverish, burning lips, feeling, sore throat (4 days) and light cough, chest pain (both 7 days or so). I sleep with my A/C on max and MAYBE this is due to my STD or the chills, cold sweat and A/C combined? Hot flashes were on and off for 30 mins or so. Second pill dose didn’t have as bad effects. Aug – 27th Still a tad burning on and off near tip of penis, no visible signs of rash or bumps yet. I am wondering how long it takes for the symptoms of an infection (if it is bacterial) to wear off? I ve heard 2 weeks from the presentation of symptoms is that correct? HELP!!

cough, chest pain is nothing to do with a STD I can assure you of that. Medications can often cause yeast infections and that is a good explaination for the "warm". Can't say for certain but like I said a good explainiation.
One last question.......if the 2g of Zithromax and the 400mg of Suprax in my system wiped out a good portion of my good bacteria ( from the constant, burning very loose bowel movement I have since taking the pills). Could I also have symptoms of an overgrowth of Yeast and given me the "warm" feeling I had in my testees and underside of penile shaft? My gums and tongue were and still are somewhat. I just started taking bacterial gut pills and will start with the Probiotics. I hope the cough, chest pain and sporadic irritation of the tip of the penis are not symptoms of something more serious.

Thank you for the info. I have no discharge now, as far as I can tell, I check in the mornings. Ocasionally (last night) I had the urethral burning, same area as before, 1cm inside, for 30mins to 1 hour. I woke up at 5 am and there it was. Obviously then I had a panic attack that I what I have is still with me, freaked out but managed to fall asleep about an hour later. Woke up at 8m. No burning, nothing, emptied full bladder went to work still nothing and its 12pm right now.
Seems this goes on and off sporadically throughout the day, or just in the evening. Still feels sometimes as there is a bit of urine a drop stuck in the urethra and you want to shake it out, slight discomfort burning. Still sometimes feel tingling, sensation, as if something is ther from time to time in urethra. I am asuming showing q-tips with Polysporin was not the best idea......

If it was NGU which it sounds like it was it can take up to 2 weeks, but the medication might not have fully worked or it might be a different strain that is resistent to the medication received.

Aug 25th does not sound STD related. If the discharge has stopped then that is a good sign.
