Reddish Clustered Spots With Burning On Base Of Penis
Hi. I hope i can recieve some kind of idea from someone here as to just what exactly may be wrong with me and what i should demand a test for...
I'm a 26 yr old male and the last time i had sex was about ten months ago, (unprotected :/ unfortunately). About 1-2weeks ago while masturbating i felt a small formation of what seemed to be a wart of some kind. It was not really painful, but it did freak me out so i went to the doctor after it had not disappeared for several days. I also noticed that closer to the base of my shaft there seemed to be a collection of very small clustered reddish like spots noticable mostly only when the skin is stretched.
The doctor who examined me said he did not think the small wart i developed on my shaft was hpv and subsequently freeze/burned it, took a urin sample and sent me home telling me not to worry. He did not seem to think the reddish spots closer to the base were anything to worry about(?!) saying those were just my 'glands' ?
Since this, my penis is has gotten worse i think, it is now in a kind of extreme burning/aching/type pain which seems to be all around the *base* of it. It hurts really bad and i am terrified of penis cancer or something horrible that perhaps if left untreated will have to result in the removal of my penis? :(
ive been doing alot of research and i guess this could possibly be herpes? or hpv or something less serious like folliculitis even maybe? or so many other things i guess... i really wish he had at least prescribed me antibiotics in hope that they may heal this... outbreak/infection or whateever it is.
Several weeks since i initially noticed the formation of this small 'wart' on my shaft these reddish spots which are rising from the base of my penis seem to be spreading :/ and the pain has now grown to be all around the base of my penis. I realize this is STRANGE. nothing i have read says almost anything about 'pain' ??? (other than herpes) so i am really freaked out it is going to be something rare and serious, possibly irreversible.
The strangest thing to me about all this is that i realize most of these penis/related diseases/disorders seem to start under the head/foreskin? or on the actual tip... but that area of my penis seems to be unaffected as yet. These clustered/spreading red bumps are coming from the *base* and are seeming to rise up the shaft. What is this?!
What kind of test should i demand be done???

I don't know enough about cancers to even begin to address this. Have you tried posting in our men's health or urology forum?

im still not convinced it isnt. the pain never goes away and is really bad. when i went to the doctor two more doctors examined it.
They both said they thought all the bumps i have are just natural bumps people get. but... ive NEVER seen these before and they are really painful and clustered.. and spreading.
see i already have cysts in my testicles that have been there for as long as i can remember... like age 12 at least. is there some possibility that with hpv + these benign cysts something has gotten worse? possibly turned malignant? the pain is radiating thruout my testicles now in addition to all over my penis.
i dont know wtf to say to them anymore. the doctors wouldnt set me up with any tests they think im just crazy or something. why does the medical system operate this way??? i asked them if they could possibly do a biopsy or ultrasound or send me to a urinologist for further examination but they just wanted to convince me nothing is wrong. wtffff ://///////////

I already said it wasn't cancer. Don't let your anxiety take over. Did you go to the doctor today?

could it be a cancer? would cancer hurt? i am so worried ugh. why did this happen to me :/ it seems like the spots have hardened into really small wart like growths in certain areas. planning on going to hospital tomorrow.

HPV wouldn't hurt. This sounds like something else entirely. When you go, ask them to culture or biopsy it so you know for sure.

well i hope so :/ ... i am going to go to the hospital again tomorrow. Every day it seems to spread and the pain gets worse and worse.. the bumps seem to be getting bigger/whiter and several seem to have already formed into new tiny warts.. the affected area is literally all over my penis. this seems so unusual.
it seems most likely its hpv??? but why does it hurtttt. :( this is horrifying. thanks i will ask for a test for a fungal type infection i guess.. and get it checked out again. hopefully they will at least give me antibiotics this time. heh

Its not herpes, and I doubt its warts. You need to go back to the doctor.
You don't have penis cancer, either. It might be a fungal infection like jock itch or yeast, but you need to get it checked.
