STD question

Hi, thanks in advance if someone answers my question. I tested negative for all STDs, including HIV a few months ago. Since than I haven't had any intercourse, but one, 4 weeks ago. I had unprotected sex with a girl that I have had sex with before. But this time, on the next day I felt pain when urinating. I thought that it might be something else and not a STD so I decided to wait a bit. The pain didn't go away, I felt slight itches on my penis head and also it was getting very reddish. I decided that I have some kind of yeast infection/candida, so I took anti-fungal drugs and used a cream. It didn't resolve my symptoms. A few days later I noticed that I have a slight discharge from the penis, barely noticeable, whitish, lust like sparse sperm. I was convinced then that I have a STD so I called the girl and she freaked a bit and went to gynecologist right away. The problem is that he took microbiological sample and examined for Trichomoniasis and Gonorrhea and other bacteria but said to her that it's not that and that her sample looks very clear and her white blood cells aren't elevated which indicates no infection. He sent her to get tested for Syphilis, Chlamydia and HIV. All came back negative. So her doctor told her that she doesn't have any STD. But I still have my symptoms, which came right after the night with her. He suggested it might be some kind of irritation, or even kidney problems, but I don't think this is likely, as I don't only have pain when urinating, but a discharge also. Please suggest what should I do. Should I do some tests? Thank you.

No we are right, you can't have symptoms the next day. It takes at least 2 days for symptoms to start. It could have been a concidence that you had pain the next day.

The pain would have started when discharge started.

I have an update. I tested negative with blood test, but now I tested positive for Chlamydia with DNA test. Seems like you are wrong about the fact that you cannot have symptoms on the next day after exposure. Anyway, thanks for the answers, I'll seek a doctor for treatment.
