STI while already on antibiotics ?
I had a one night stand recently.
However, I had an unrelated infection and was on strong antibiotics (Augmentin, Clarithromycin) and Steroids during this entire period.
I'm going to get an STI test but ..
(1) What is the potential of getting an STI such as Chlamydia or Gonorrhea while on this medication?
(2) If I had Chlamydia or Gonorrhea would the medication I'm on have potentially cleared this anyway?

I don't believe so, but no one here is an expert on medications. Just know those would not be the recommended ones for those STD's.
foolishly no. I don't condone my actions, but putting the rights/wrongs to one side, is there any chance my antibiotics "might" have mitigated my chances of infection ?
