Symptoms despite negative results

Excuse the long post but here goes:-
Three weeks ago i had unprotected sex with an old aquaintence, I was very drunk, which is my only (pathetic) excuse.
I have been married for 25 years and this is the first time I have ever been unfaithful, I am now at my wit's end with worry.

The day after the encounter I woke with a rash on my penis and a small blister near the opening to the Urethra. The doctor prescribed a 7 day course of Doxycycline and the rash and blister seemed to heal/go away.
The probem was I was getting a tinging /burning sensation at the tip or just inside of my penis.

After day 12 I sent a Urine sample to an online clinic which came back 'Negative' for Gonorrea and Chlamydia.
Thinking this may not be accurate as it was before the 2 week 'window' I sent a further Urine sample at day 16 to test for Gonorrea,Chlamydia,Mycoplasma,Ureaplasma and Trich.

While waiting for the results I mentioned my stinging penis tip to the online doctor who recommended a 5 day course of azithromycin and metronidazole.

I proceeded to take the complete course of Antibiotics and meanwhile my results came back 'Negative' for Gonorrea, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, Ureaplasma and Trich.

After all the medication and tests my problem is my penis tip is still stinging and I'm terrified to resume sex with my wife and risk passing anything on to her.

The online doctor emailed to say it was safe to resume sex with her following these results but why am I still getting these symptoms? The thought of passing anything on to my wife is too much to bear.

I really dont know that answer but im sure they will answer. The concern i would have is about herpes, as the blister appeared the next day but the estimated symptom is 2 days and this is pretty close.

Thanks for the reply life360,
I got the doxy from my GP (in the UK) but they do not perform STI tests there. The alternative is a clinic but results take about 4 weeks and so I went privately to get the test results quicker.

Can you tell me if I asked this question to an expert on here would I get any notification through the mail,  I see they need my billing address, the last thing I needs is something dropping through my letterbox.

Ho Joe, sorry you put yourself through all this. Just courious as to why you did not go see your regular doc about this?
I think the gono and chly tests are ok as 5 days after contact you would have a burning in your urethra and a white discharge.
Were you tested for herpes as the symptoms appear 2 to 10 days after contact.
The stinging is most likley from your constant checking and pulling and even washing it with lye based soap.
i, myself, would not trust the tests 100% that you did and would obstain from having sex with your wife to your sure.
