Trich

My wife has recently been positive for trich during a visit to her ob/gyn. we both have been treated but some symptoms still remained on my end. i.e. slight clear discharge and mild itch inside tip of penis. i took the one time dose of flagyl on 11-19. everything seemed ok for a fewdays then these symptoms. i just started the 7 day treatment of flagyl to be safe. these symptoms are not constant maybe every other day or 2. could this be something else or am i just freakin out and bein over sensitive? any ideas?

How does trich start, ESP if both partners profess their faithfulness during a 1 1/2 yr relationship before trich came into the picture  sometime after July of that yr when my pal showed ok   I never had any symptoms until later on. Severely by Oct of that year. Was my lover unfaithful to me?  He swears NO. Naturally.    What are medical facts?

Honestly, it could be either.  Take the 7 day treatment, avoid sex for 7 days (if you have had sex since your wife was treated, she should be treated again if you are being treated again and then it would be 7 days from whoever started treatment last), and then give it a week or so if you are still having symptoms.  If you are, follow up with your doctor again.

did they test for you other infections too just to err on the side of caution?

let the additional flagyl do it's job and go from there.
