herpes

Is it correct that for herpes to be transmitted one of the people involved has to have an open sore.  Say from oral sex, if there are no open sores or cuts is the chance or getting it reduced?

thanks

Constantly repeating the same information to the same person is not the point of this board.

Here is one for you.  You keep on looking for something, so now you think you feel things.  You are your own worst enemy when it comes to your health.  If you think it enough, then your mind causes you to manifest the thought into reality. Get my point?  Your mind is now playing tricks on you.

Let me give you an example.  Women who try to get pregnant want it to happen so bad.  Or they even worry so much that they are that when they miss their period, they start to feel nauseated, they start to feel so bloated, so tired.  Then they test-negative.  A few days later, they get their period and then the "symptoms" are gone. And I'm talking women who don't have pms before their period.

So stop thinking or worrying about having something, and most likely, your sensitivity, which I think is stemmed from your extreme paranoid anxiety over this, will probably go away.

If you want continued support, try listening to the advice given...you get more empathy that way.  Stop reading too much into what,so far, has proven to be nothing at all.

I'm not wasting my time on this anymore.

Isn't discussing these these things the point of the board?

I'm even starting to feel sensitivity down there so I may very well have somehting, but I cant get tested right now and in the meantime I want information, opinions and experiences form those willing to share.

You need to get past it and listen to the great advice already given to you.  But only you can do that for yourself.  Because apparently, no matter what anyone says you continue to ask questions to try to get someone to tell you that you do or don't have an std.  NO ONE on a forum can diagnose you over the internet.  You will just have to do something to get your mind off it until you can be tested and diagnosed properly by a doctor.

THAT is why I said that.  I didn't want to be harsh but this is nuts.

I don't think asking for info on diseases is unreasonable, isnt that what this board is for?

Patrick. The main problem you have is `guilt`. It had nothing to do with STDs. You`ve read allsorts of trash on the internet took all your fears and ran with them. Think about it. You`ve had a **. Big deal. What have you got? 99.9% likely NOTHING.
If sneaking a quicky causes this much anguish I wouldn`t bother again. Ever.
I won`t be reading any more of your `panic attack` posts.

Pat. You`re in panic mode. No-one needs to have an open sore. Generally transmission occurs at the part where friction occurs most. Do yourself a favour and stop trawling the net.
