responding to older posts

If you've read a post older than 2 weeks old and wanted to ask questions of the person who posted it, it's best to send them a PM instead of posting in that post. Most folks do not come back for years checking the forum so odds are they aren't going to see that you are asking them questions. You might not even get a response from a PM if they don't come back regularly to medhelp but it's the best way to contact them if they are.

Same goes with replying to a post that is older than 2 weeks old, if someone posted 3 years ago, telling them it sounds like X or they need to do Y, isn't going to be very beneficial that long after the fact!!

also if you have a question of your own, please start your own post with your question, not tack it on to an older post of someone else - thanks!
