Oh My Goodnes...there is someone else like me!!!
I don't know of anyone else who complained of glossitis with herpes. Thanks for sharing that with me because I keep thinking that after 2 years they are not finished diagnosing me. However, whenever I go to the dr, the other tests remain clear. Some people have a bad reaction to herpes or any other disease I guess, but I still have yet to have an outbreak. My other symptoms are stomach aches which are relieved with antacids...it didn't show up until I got herpes and I'm thinking that I have some sort of arthritis in my knees as walking down steps has become quite difficult...However, I've very active and I jog, have no problems walking up steps and exercise very often. It's so weired. What other symptoms do you have and do you go to any meetings?
As far as your red bump goes...herpes bumps (so I've heard) tend to look like chicken pox. They may be red, but more importantly they will open and be painful. One thing for sure, you don't have to get bumps to have herpes. It can feel like scratches or scrapes and you may never see a thing. So please get a physician to diagnose you before you shout "hooray". Herpes is a tricky disease that varies (I can say from experience).
