I had a naat test for gonorrhea which was negative.  I was currently on an antibiotic for another issue. will this render my test meaningless.  And if so when should i retest.

I thought you had gonorrhea testing before you starting your antibiotics?

you have 2 months to continue asking questions on your post in the std experts forum. why not run this past them with more details than you've provided here?

I may be off base but what i have read about naat testing is its so highly sensitive that false positives are more the norm especially in monitering after treatment as it picks up the dead bacteria.  I would think if there was any theraputic effect by the antibiotic the dead bacteria would show up in the test
