Is this HPV??

Ok,  Here is the deal..  I was with this girl for about a year and a half.    Then we split up.  And about 8 months latter i noticed this wart.  Or what i thought at the time might be a skin tag.  It was not on my penis but on the base.   And i use to shave there to i figured it was just some kind of tag.  And did not itch or bother me one bit.  SO i ripped it off...  Bleed lightly for a min or so and that was that... Didn't think about it again... Untill about a week and a half ago.  I trimmed down there and noticed a few more on the base.  And without thinking i just ripped them off with some tweezers,  Same thing, Stung for a min and bleed lightly then seemed to be pretty healed up now.  But then just last weekend i noticed several wart looking things on my shaft.  So then i got a  little worried and started looking up things online.  Come to find that they might be genital warts,  They don't look 100% like the pictures i seen but maybe they were not as bad is all i figured.  But i noticed i probably have close to 20 lil ones.  So i started putting tea tree oil on them the last 3 or so days.  through out the day.   It has not made much difference as of yet though,  I also tried soaking them in vinegar.  To see if they turn out white.  Witch they didn't seem to do.  Here are some pictures that might help.  I just want to confirm if its HPV.  I know the best thing is to see a DR.

The answer to your question is in my initial response.

I don't advise self-treatment. Obviously if you don't want to pay to see a doctor then thats your choice, but I would advise it for reasons already clearly given.

I don't have anything further to add I'm afraid so there wont be any further responses to this.

best regards, Sean

Thanks for the response.. WOW i got 2 things going on.  That's scary.  I'm 30 years old and only been with 4 females. Didn't do the whole sleeping around thing to avoid something like this....  At least it isn't something to serious.  Witch one is witch?
Also i have continued to put tea tree oil on the effected areas.  And then i have also crushed up some aspirin and mixed it with vinegar.  Witch resulted in killing them...  They have shrunk to nothing but what looks like a scab. And sure it will end up just falling off any day.  I have also continued with the vitamin.  Also started taking garlic pills as well.

So my question is... Since i killed them with tea tree oil,  Vinegar and aspirin from the out side.  "also use the vinegar to find smaller ones that i couldn't find without"
And i been doing things to boost my immune system and being more healthy, to be help kill them from the inside.

What is the reason for going to the drs and them try to possibly put me on aldara cream where there are side effects and cost allot more?

Hello

Thanks for the post and the unusually good quality photo's.

You have two sexually transmitted, skin surface viruses.

One is HPV - likely to be benign (simply because you can see them) and yes, you need to see a doctor to have them destroyed properly with cryotherapy.

The second looks to be molluscum contagiosum. This is an easily transmitted, short lived, sexually transmitted disease in adults. The treatment is usually much the same as for warts although the "freeze time" is usually much shorter.

Expect to have to return a few times to have them destroyed.

Discuss with your doctor the possibility of subtyping the HPV and discuss the possibility of vaccination against HPV when you know the results.

best regards, Sean
