When itchiness occurs scratching it would be a relief but it creates a very small wound which i even applied with an ethyl alcohol. it hurt. Itchiness only occurs on one area. can this be caused bya pubic lice? im worried. what are the symptoms of pubic lice? how can i treat it? can i see the lice with my naked eye? need help.
Hello,
Thank you for your post and welcome to our forum. I will answer each of your questions here below:
1- Are there any possibilities to get Gonorrhea or any STD including HIV in my situation?
YOUR SEXUAL ENCOUNTER WAS PROTECTED. THEREFORE THERE IS NO RISK. IF ANYTHING YOUR SYMPTOMS MIGHT BE RELATED TO NSU ONLY.
2- I’m really confused about the HIV possible symptoms. I have read few articles in the internet describing the symptoms and it’s almost similar to Influenza symptoms. I was already suffering from minor flue before the sexual contact. So I can’t evaluate if those symptoms are related or not. In addition, I’m wondering if HIV or any STD has better chances to transmit in case you were already sick and your immunity was weak at that time?!
NO RISK OF HIV AT ALL WHATOSEVER. THEREFORE ANY SYMPTOMS ARE UNRELATED. NO INCREASED RISK IN THIS CASE EVEN IF YOU ALREADY HAD AN INFECTION PREVIOUSLY.
3- Are there any values of testing myself in this stage? Considering that contact was only five days ago. What will be the suitable time to go over the PCR or HIV Combo tests and are there any necessary tests that I should go over?
YOU DO NOT NEED A HIV TEST. AS A PROTECTED SEXUAL ENCOUNTER, YOU DO NOT NEED ANY TESTS. HOWEVER YOU SEEM TO HAVE SOME URETHRAL IRRITATION AND IT MIGHT BE WORTH TESTING FOR POSSIBLE NSU AFTER ONE WEEK OF THE ENCOUNTER
4- I’m married, so should I stop any sexual contact with my partner until I get tested? And what is the recommended period?
SEE ABOVE.
Best wishes,
Dr José
