2 red itchy bumps on the base of my penis ( only 1 is itchy )

My last intercourse was last week, and it was protected. I don't know if it has anything to do with this or not.

So this morning inwoke up and i feel itchiness on the base of my penis. When i checked it out, i saw 2 red bumps on the area, and i noticed that only one is itchy, the bigger one, while the other one doesn't.  It doesn't look like HPV or any kinds of warts, and it doesn't hurt at all. It looks more like folliculitis or pimple, but itchy. What could it be?

The only way to know for sure is to get it checked by a doctor. The bumps could be herpes, folliculitis, or a host of other things, including an allergic reaction, a fungal infection, etc.

See your doctor.

It's a little hard to say. Protected intercourse was important to have but isn't one hundred percent in protecting against std's. The bumps would not be HPV as that is too soon for anything like that to appear. I'd rule that out. Herpes is another contact std but this doesn't really follow the regular path of that type of infection either. Normally a first outbreak is the worst and painful. Are the bumps getting any better?
